About Me

I'm a major computer geek. Just completed my Red Hat Certified Technician certification. Gotta work a little harder to get that RHCE! Fell way short on that test. I'm a Unix System Administrator. I'm currently working on a dedicated support project which involves WebSphere Application Server 6 and WebSphere MQ support running on Fujitsu Primepower 650 with Solaris 8 Operating System. In other words... I play with computers ALL day. I can't think of a better job. This is what I seen myself doing since I was 12years old; after reading a magazine article about computer technicians.
I've been married for 22 years and I have 4 kids. The oldest is 20, next is 18 , and twins that are 10.
I coach basketball at the Boys and Girls Club during the summer and for the CAA during the winter league. I'm also attending Wesley College in New Castle for my Business Degree. I have very little free time left.
I love music, but I can't sing a lick! But I can listen all day long. I'm trying to fill up my 60gb iPod. I believe its about half full.
Now, for the thing that I am most fanatical about, other than the Lord....

My Interests

I'm a huge video gamer. GEARS of WAR , Call of Duty 4, Crackdown, NBA 2K8, Madden 08! If anyone wants to play on XBOX Live holla at me. My gamertag is above.

I'm a big Linux fan. I started with Red Hat 5.0 , way back in da day. I've just upgraded to Fedora Core 8 . I've been playing around with the Desktop Effect and its very cool.

I've built a MythTV Box on an IBM running Fedora Core 6 . MythTV is awesome! And its all free... well.. you have to pay for your hardware. Recently I received my Red Hat Certified Technician Certification. I'm still shooting for that Red Hat Certified Engineer . If only I had another hour to work on that 5.5 hour test! It was a beast. I'm going back to conquer it!
