About Me



The Consolidated Hand, Mouth, and Ear Institute was formed in 2004 and is a project of the artist Douglas Witmer . Its first full-length album, "Condensery," is inspired in part by the modernist American poet Lorine Niedecker .
The EP "First Light" was released in December of 2007 as a free download. It consists of six short electric guitar pieces utilizing looping effects, recorded in one take with no overdubs.
