About Me

I may be a little crazy, but there is never a dull moment. But seriously, I am an average person, with the same issues as everyone else, but I'm honest about mine. I was widowed at 31 with a 3 month old baby. I am just tying to have fun like everyone else.I am thankful for everything I have experienced in my life. Things don't always work out as planned, but the show must go on. I look forward to many more great things in my life. My friends and family are very important, most of all my son Nolan. He is the reason for all I do. But I have to celebrate this life I'm living and make new friends.I know too well that you never know when your number will be up and you will be taken away from this life. I tell those close to me how much they mean to me every time I talk with them. The last thing you say to or do for one you love may really be the last. Make it count!I never thought that @ 35 I'd be widowed and lose my mother- both accidently and too younge. This wasn't my plan, but I have to play the hand I'm dealt. I'm grateful that I still have my father after his stroke, my father on law after his cancer, my nephew after being born premature, my sister after her blood clots . . . and that's just my closest family. They could have all died, but they didn't. So to all my friends, I love you, I appreciate all you do for me, I don't want to lose anyone else, I would miss you! Let's all do what we can to live a long, happy life, ok?

Any cool people, you can't have too many good friends. Any parents of toddlers in the area or people with similar interests. Old friends or new, men or women. Fun people who are real, no bullshit drama. Honesty is important. I have a brain- let's talk. I am not looking for a boyfriend, or a date even, so thanks, I am flattered, but you are wasting your time hitting on me. I have met a great guy and am looking forward to 2009 with him. Dave is great, I am glad I gave him a chance and have gotten to know him. Thanks Wendy.
