has been officially open since 2002 but I have been DJing and recording since 1996. The artist have varied over the years but luckily all seem to have that hunger that makes for a good song. A self-taught (not by choice) DJ, producer, engineer(yeah right!), and promoter. I started out as a DJ as a soldier in Ft. Bragg, NC (Shout outs to Phat Rabbit, and Audio Pimp). Shortly after I was discharged, I moved to Sanford, NC ( shout outs to Sounds Of Hip Hop and Black Sheep) where I started focusing more on the turntablist style of Djing. I work as a resident DJ to several production companies in the Durham/Greensboro/Fayettville area(shout outs to the Branson St. Manson). I also travel the East Coast from NY to Atlanta performing. Always moving, I ended up in Fremont, OH (shout out to Mat Dorr, Rob Riddum, and DJ Daddy) where I once again turned my focus. I became obsessed with mixtapes (street, 4 trak, mainstream) and the recording aspect of DJing. Natural interaction with MC's and other artist turned from recording me, to recording them. Blazewright was born. I then traveled the MidWest performing, and settled in Columbus, OH (shout outs to Pimp-O-Tron, CIA, Malfuntion, B.B. Gunn, NTS and DJ Przm). I then met DJ Przm who taught me the joys of a beautiful thing called an MPC. I spent alot of time watching him chop and work samples and drums into some of the dopest Hip Hop. I helped my roommate TJ start UpRight Productions and threw several events as well as Djing them. I signed on with several different production companies and played countless shows. My travels landed me in Cincinnati, OH, where I have been for the past 4 years. I have spent more time perfecting my recording skills as well as my DJing. I DJ out for a few artist and few clubs here and there. (VIP room Purgutory-DJing and getting kicked out ....I LOVE IT! HAHAHA) I am currently working with Juice Lee, Joe Neighb, PBK, Nonsence, Te' Love, Rizewelz, Ghost House, and Herbin Life, to name a few. I love to support local talent and music. Networking is the way to a fruitful music scene. Now playing: Blazewright Studios
