I want to travel wherever the Army or life will take me. I've been to Mexico, England, Italy, and Peru so far... so let's see what comes up next. Hopefully not the sandbox!
I'd like to meet:
I miss all my friends from all over. I want to hang out with all my wind ensemble and snowball friends from Waubonsie, all my HPU Kukui Dorm friends, my Salvation Army homies from Kauluwela, the Catholic Charities Hawaii Team, my basic training and AIT battle buddies, my BR buddies from Ala Moana and Fox Valley, and everyone else I've missed along the way!
Music:
I love anything acoustic. I'm a Dave Mathews Band, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, James Blunt, Nickleback fan. Personally I am picking up the acoustic guitar, but just praise and worship songs for now. I made my way through college playing the sax, so I'm somewhat of a jazz fan too.
By the way... I'm a huge RENT fan: No Day But Today!
Movies:
City of Angels... the most amazing love story ever! I still cry at the end! Is that really out there... can a man really love another so much that he would give up everything to be with her? "I would rather have one breath of her hair, one kiss of her mouth, one touch of her hand... than an eternity without it... one."
Television:
We just got DVR... so I record House on Tuesdays, Standoff on Fridays, and Army Wives on Sundays! (then I hope I get half an hour to myself to watch them) :o)
Books:
Nothing lately... I pick up a few books here and there to reference for social work or to learn about babies, but nothing fun.
Heroes:
For everything I aspire to do I have a hero. God is my one true hero because he was perfect and forgiving.
