About Me

I am an enigma even, or perhaps especially, to myself. I love music, theatre, and movies. I do way too many things at one time all of the time, and I'm pretty sure that if I didn't do all of them I wouldn't be able to do any of them. I am completely imperfect and very aware of the fact. Sometimes I get way to exisitential, often to my own detriment. I love every simple pleasure in life, including but not limited to clothes fresh from the dryer, standing over the heater in the bathroom during winter, laughing until my stomach hurts, bubble baths, any cheezy holiday tradition, and building the occasional fort. I love bar games, and I am way too competitive but in a good natured way. By that I mean if you beat me I'll probably be speaking with you the next day...maybe. I love with all of my heart. Music:

I am passionate about all kinds of music. I love hearing new music. Some favorite artists include: Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline, Ben Folds, Incubus, Sutton Foster, HelloGoodbye, Buddy Guy, Norah Jones, The Beatles, Martina McBride, Cowboy Mouth, Burnadette Peters, Queen, Rascal Flatts, and any Broadway Musical.

Movies:

I just love movies in general, but I will admitt I am a sucker for a good love story. Some of my favorites inculde:The Wizard of Oz, Love Actually, any Kevin Smith movie, The 10th Kingdom, anything Disney, Labyrinth, Sliding Doors, Shopgirl,Pulp Fiction, What Dreams May Come, Barefoot in the Park,An American in Paris,and Singin in The Rain.

Television:

Sex and the City (I am after all a girl), American Idol, House, Dawsons Creek(Yeah, I know...),Scrubs, and although this is very old school, I still love Saved by the Bell.

Books:

I'm really into classic literature, A Tale of Two Cities will always be my favorite, Walt Whitman is my favortie poet, I love any sort of fantasy novel, like Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings, and I have read a million cheezy romance novels. (Everyone has their thing). Lately I've been really into philosophy. Favorite playwright's include: Eugene O'Neill, Sophie Treadwell, Harold Pinter, Tennessee Williams, David Mamet, and Samuel Beckett.
