I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Here's the 4-1-1: I'm a radio personality with his own show on the World Wide Web (the last bastion of free freakin' speech in this country!), I'm outspoken, unabashed, open-mined, and pissed off about the stupidity of the world around me. I feel it is my duty in this world to be the voice of reason in a world of stupidty...to cut through the crap and lies that are force fed to us on a daily basis. To expose the man behind the curtain for what he really is: a charlatan, a cheat, and a liar. I'm YOUR voice, I'm YOUR vessel to the truth. Now....if only you program directors of terrestrial radio out there would open your eyes, you'll see that I not only inform, but entertain. I'm worth it, guys----take a chance.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

My Interests

Catching up on sleep when I can, reading when the mood strikes me. Taking a stroll along the beach, sporting events, and just great conversation (especially looking for a woman that gives "mind", if you know what I mean).

I'd like to meet:

I'm a people person, so I'm open to meeting anybody. As long as you're not a stalker, murderer, rapist, or a door-to-door salesman, or politician. I'm open to talk...it's what I do, so don't be afraid...

Music:

Run the spectrum here: Classic Rock, Alternative, Blues, pop music (mostly 70's/80's), some country, and whatever else strikes my fancy. Jimi Hendrix, The Pixies, BB King, The Beach Boys, Oingo Boingo, White Stripes, and Liz Phair are among some of my favorites, but I'm a DJ, so I gotta be as eclectic as possible.

Movies:

Big fan of movies by Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, John Hughes, Cameron Crowe, The Cohn Brothers, Zucker brothers. Movies from Winona Ryder, John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, Harrison Ford, Humphrey Bogart, Bob Hope & Bing Crosby

Television:

Like all the CSI: shows, ER, Two & A Half Men, Titus (that show should STILL be on the air! THE funniest damn show I ever saw on TV! You rule, Christopher!), and the most unsung show on TV: MXC-Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (Indeed!)

Books:

"Get Shorty" by Elmore Leonard, "The More Than Complete Hitchhiker's Guide" and "Dirk Gentley's Holistic Detective Agency" by Douglas Adams, "Napalm & Silly Putty", and "When Will Jesus Bring The Porkchops" by George Carlin. Anything Marvel or DC tends to put out if it's interesting enough.

Heroes:

My Dad, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Danny Elfman, and a few radio personalities that have influenced my career: Richard Blade, "The Real" Don Steele, Chick Hearn, Vin Scully, Jed The Fish, Rick Dees, Dr. Demento, Dave, Shelly, & Chainsaw, Frosty, Heidi, & Frank, Don Imus, and Howard Stern

Commitment to winning?

I just suffered through a royal suckfest of a weekend for a sports fan.  USC loses to lowly Stanford in Saturday's game, the Angels refused to show up for the postseason and were embarrasingly hu...

Angels with Cheese

The Inner Sports Geek in me was extremely happy this last weekend.  First of all, I got to head up to Anaheim to Angel Stadium to watch my Halos clinch the AL West in front of the hometown crowd ...

Dispelling Dodger Blue

"Dodger Blue"....yep, seems synonymous with LA sports fans when it comes to America's Pasttime.  The sounds of the great Vin Scully welcoming everyone to Dodger Baseball.  Aaaahh yes...the f...

Was looking for music to play for this week's edition of "The Jeff & Mike Show" when I came across George Harrison's last album, "Brainwashed".  Which, by the way, if you're a Beatles fan OR ...

Lawsuits for Something, and Name Calling Ain’t Free

Just read a news story regarding Don Imus that just made me realize just how pissed off I am at society sometimes: Kia Vaughn, a emember of the Rutgers baskeball team that was the so-called "target of...

Military "Crimes" and Government Misdemeanors

Searching through the news today, I came across a couple of articles in today's North County Times that just chaffs my ass like sandpapaer on baby's bottom.  I find it interesting how, in today's...

Sacrifice & Consequences

Sacrifice is something that can either be small or huge in scale, but still carries an impact; small sacrifices can have huge rewards, but I find that, sometimes, large--even IMMENSE---sacrifices have...
