I love to socialise, interact with new people and take partying to new levels. I’ve had a strong (and yes sometimes obsessive) passion for dance music. Words don’t do justice when describing my favourite sounds, but to hit my target, it’s usually got to be a deep, electronic, uplifting and driving groove. I’m not a professional DJ, but I like to think that my understanding of the music and the scene is on par with the best of them.But yes, I do spin; on Pioneer CDJ 1000’s preferably. I’ve been fortunate enough to play gigs in the UK, Australia and Thailand. Some of my best friends are established and soon to be established globe trotting DJs. I've always been passionate about supporting them over the years, never wanting to miss a party. More recently, nights out include me DJ-ing at the party. Quite a contrast to my traditional Greek-Cypriot background and straight-laced career path. I like to think that I'm living proof tht it can be done and I wouldn't change it for the world!By day, my name’s John, I’m a Criminal Lawyer and I represent the darker, more rebellious end of society. By night (unless I’m working of course), I’m back to Yan, the music obsessed, goodtime seeking Londoner who hates nothing more than the monotonous routine of capitalist routed political correctness. In short, it’s all about living each day like it’s your last and reflecting a positive energy on everyone around you. Call me a hippy/lawyer/clubber and you’re halfway there.
