My Interests

Music:

Band Members: jeremy francis robert cox
Influences: all craftspeople of the song as an elixir - a small dose of what you need, to hit you where you live... also all artists who live/d for their art... who feel it and make you feel it...tend to feel like the places i love to explore (and want to continue exploring) with my lyrics are places i've been enticed towards by people like: david sylvian, morrissey, david bowie, thom yorke, chiku toshiaki, inoue yousui, nick heyward, paul simon ... whereas musically i feel really influenced by the vibes of david sylvian, albano carrisi, enrico macias, depeche mode, david bowie, tama, the earthmen, david cassidy, bjork, john/paul/george/ringo, blur, greenday, nick laird-clowes, youssou n'dour, robert (hawk) florczak .... that's not to infer that i don't dig the music of the lyrical influences or the lyrics of the musical influences...
Sounds Like: a really confused potpourri of all the artists i'm crazy about and others who i don't realise i like or don't want to admit i like...

Hippos

"Unclench, release it... let all that stuff go... let the happiness in!" The words flow urgingly in from the well-meaners. Alas, destiny (whether it exists or not!) seems unalterable for th...

Buffalo

This thing the English speakers so blithely call a "planet" that they think they're living on& surely they have now got to wake up and realize how few, if any, of these so-called "senses" that they th...

Citybound Mini Album

The new mini album "Citybound" is up on the Alchemist Records website! It's more or less a summary of my writing over the last year or so, with one much older song ("Fend") thrown in, in a new incarna...

Akane...

Am now in Bangkok, and forced to contemplate yet again the unattainability of the unattainable... and the unattainability of the attainable. Very recently, looking at photos - taken by myself and...

Giorno

Have posted a new song "Giorno". Originally the title was going to be "Io Di Giorno" because I envisaged it as a kind of companion piece to Albano's 1967 classic "Io Di Notte" - a song which kind of g...

Fragility...

Humans are unbelievably fragile... the scar on my knee from when I was eleven is a constant reminder... this current cold is a transitory one... Humans are deceptively resilient... and randomly s...
