Beyond the Jura Mountains, somewhere next to Lake Geneva and facing the Alps there lies a quiet place. It is this place that gave birth to "La Famille Bou" and then watched it grow and evolve. In this "little bit of family" where the leitmotiv is friendship and simplicity, a strong passion for music has seen itself develop.
La Famille Bou's music is free spirited and rich in variety. Its colorful sounds are a reflection of the new wave era and its creativity is based on the heritage of European electronic pop. Programs and modern machines delicately melt with the sounds of a unique mix of instruments incorporating a most pure voice stirred with tones of a bass which one suspects is made out of solid old wood. The result is an alliance of pop culture, luminous songs and it is all irradiated by an incredibly positive philosophy.
The first album "Open doors" feeds on the perfect symbiosis which reins amongst the four members of the band and its 45 minutes of refreshing songs have the potential to become our future smash hits. If one must compare then think of Depeche Mode in the beginning, Saint Etienne, Telex and the Pet Shop Boys (known for their perfectionism).
From Yello to Stephan Eicher, our Swiss friends have already offered many a treat to the musical field. What if La Famille Bou swept the Pop world off its feet and became the next big breakthrough?
