I grew up in Queens as one of the tough guys. Went to Lutheran grammer school. After I entered High School I changed to the Hippie ways. Ran away from home at 15 and went to Woodstock Music and Arts Festival where I hooked up with the Hog Farm Commune and helped feed 400,000 people. Dishing out oatmeal and gruel was insightful and caught my interest. I've been in the food service industry ever since. After that travelled on the "busses". At one point I was living on the "Just Bus" Carravaning with the "Us Bus". They were called that because when they were alone it was just us busses.(Doo Dah) Went through the spiritual quest in the 70's and found out what I needed to know. Lived in Malibu and Venice where I met and posse'd with Dennis Wilson and Kieth Moon among others. Hung out on Stage with the Grateful Dead '80& '81 WOW. Lived in Denmark in the mid 80's with Annette and had one of the most beautiful people I know, My oldest son Sean-Poul AKA Inspired. While there I operated The Motown Rock and Roll nightclub. I have always been abundantly blessed and continue to be. I have had numerous opportunities to meet and get to know some very interesting people. In the 90's I was involved with some interesting restaurants Maple Drive in Beverly Hills and The Stinking Rose. I also operated Schatzi on Main for the big guy Arnold. My dream of owning my own place came about 2 1/2 years ago when I opened TRYST restaurant. Since closed. I have 2 other boys Clayton 14 and Tucker 11 whom I coach in various sports. They truely are remarkable. I have been indeed blessed with the ability to pass through this whirlwind of life with a calmness that comes from deep within inside myself. For that I will always be grateful.
