I am here for Friends

About Me

I used to be indecisive but now I just can’t make up my mind what I am.

My Interests

Writing, photography, a bit of anthropology, reading and crows all interest me. I love to travel.

I'd like to meet:

Pema Chodron and Coinneach Crow. Meeting them concurrently would be even more interesting.

I'd also like to meet up with many friends listed here. Ah, but ... On that note, I have recently "jiggled about" a few of my top friends. I've added some new faces and removed others. Don't worry if you no longer see yourself below. We haven't fallen out. I'm just doing some early spring cleaning, or it may be that I haven't heard from you in a while. It's good to support some artists, too, by adding them to my friends.

Music:

Ben Taylor, Richard Shindell, Dougie MacLean, Tracy Chapman, Nanci Griffith, David Gray, Paul Rodgers, Darden Smith, Shawn Colvin, John Gorka, Kate Rusby, Cara Dillon, Jimmy LaFave, Runrig, Eliza Gilkyson, Lucy Kaplansky, James Taylor, Ceolbeg, Christy Moore, Paul Brady, June Tabor, Trichotymus, Secret Garden, Afro Celt Sound System, Dar Williams, The Finn Brothers, and not forgetting Dave Fleming

Movies:

Drama, mostly.

Television:

Nothing before 10 pm.

Books:

Currently reading lots of books by Deepak Chopra. Very enlightening!

Heroes:

I'm not so inclined to hero-worship, but Evan Harrington has heroic qualities, found in his dignity, strength and kindness and I am proud I was given the opportunity to be his friend. Meanwhile, here's a photo of my favorite place to chill, breathe and be thankful for everything else in life.

My Blog

What on earth was she thinking?

I've always wondered, what on earth was Mrs Ghali thinking when she named her baby Boutros Boutros? Does anything like that ever bewilder you?
