About Me

Established in 1981, Red Eye Records is Sydney's largest independent music retailer. Our mail order business has been very successful growing rapidly over the last ten years helping customers from all over the world find rare, out of print and unique Australian items through our web site www.redeye.com.au
We supply all Australian major label and independent releases and import titles, with weekly air shipments from the USA and UK, and frequently from Canada, Germany, Holland, Italy, France, Japan, Argentina and more.
As well as the internet/mail order business we have three retail outlets in Sydney:
SHOP 1 > 66 KING STREET, SYDNEY NSW 2000 (between George and York Streets) is mostly new products (cd's, cd singles, vinyl, t-shirts, DVDs, books/mags/fanzines, posters) stocking a massive range of imports, Australian artists, alternative, oldies, gothic/industrial, dance, avant garde, soundtracks, jazz & blues etc.. We now have a "Sale" section where we stock a stack of great titles for under $15 plus some selected used CDs.
SHOP 2 is upstairs inside shop 1 and is now stocked with all our GROWING Metal, Punk & Gothic genres (CD, Vinyl, T-Shirts & DVDs). Also Horror & Cult movies are now upstairs. Aswell as some fashion accessories (belts, buckles, patches etc)
We still sell and display our collectables items in shop 2 some are on display the others please ask at the counter. 2nd hand vinyl is still upstairs too.
SHOP 3 > 370 PITT STREET, SYDNEY NSW 2000 (between Liverpool and Goulburn Streets) is mostly used product (similar to shop 2 but much larger) stocking tons of vinyl and thousands of CD's, plus DVDs, singles, collectors items etc...
