Mik, Dj Mik, or MEGAPOLE began spinning records in san francisco. His musical tastes have spanned the entire electronic music spectrum throughout his 10 years behind the decks. Starting with house music he quickly ascended the bpm ladder and found himself ultimately coveting techno as his true love. However, this has never discouraged him from experimenting with anything that had a good beat and worked well on the dancefloor. Some other style's of music he enjoys djing are hip hop, breaks, jungle, downtempo, funk and soul.
Born in Poland, mik's love for music began at an early age as his uncles exposed him to everything from jazz to rock. A self taught drummer and guitarist, mik learned quickly that music comes from within one's soul. Combined with his love for records he is always pushing himself to evolve and grow as a dj.
Mik's experience as a dj ranges from playing underground parties in san francisco to throwing his very own events. The most recent being Crush, which was held in the Temecula wine country.
