Brookie Pie!

I never know where to start with these "about me" things. Lets just say, I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. So that makes me a real Floridian. I live in a townhome with my boyfriend Phil and our two baby puppies, Riley & Elliott. The three are my life.This summer I will be venturing to college for the first time to get my AA in Education. I haven't decided if I will do Elementary or Secondary. I haven't taken any classes since highschool. The last test I have taken was the GED test in 2000. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm going to take my first semester slow. Since it is in the summer, so I'm only taking two courses. Everyone has been really supportive and my parents are so proud of me. I keep saying "I haven't been to a single class yet, calm down." but it's nice.I currently work for an engineering firm in Temple Terrace but I will be going part time here in order to get more school done. Which is nice because the pay here is good even if the job is a bore. Being part time will help that.I feel like in order to be happy, you need to have a job that makes you happy because that's where you spend most of your "awake" time. Why spend over 9 hours a day working for people you don't like and a job that is boring. That's why I'm chosing Education. I like working with kids of all ages, kindergarten up to seniors in highschool and I have experience doing so in cheerleading.I like to spend my time with Phil and the dogs mostly. If we're going somewhere and they are able to go also, then they do. I like going to the beach or the park, especially the dog beach/park. I like to read and play video games on my Nintendo DS and the Wii. Also some computer games.
