My Interests

books, sturdy frying pans, pants

I'd like to meet:

whoever invented post-it notes. And maybe zola budd.

Music:

I don't believe in typing out long lists.

Movies:

Anything involving tilda swinton. Heavenly Creatures, good 80's sci-fi.

Television:

I used to be a huge fan of Mystery! and made a point of saving sunday nights for whiskey and slow british plot development on PBS. That said, my television went to an early grave in 2005, and there's simply no good reason to buy another one.

Books:

Just finished/adored LightHousekeeping by jeanette winterson, and also recently discovered neil gaiman. Go ahead, judge. Geek Love, Octavia Butler, Edward Said, Seamus Heaney, Angela Davis, Philip Pullman, lots of sci-fi. Ted Hughes. I'll read anything involving dangerous ocean crossings.

My Blog
