About Me

...What's up everyone? My name is Danny, I'm 27 and I am currently working towards achieving my Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing. After that, I plan on getting into Broadcasting School to learn more about working in the Radio Industry. My love for music has been a lifelong adventure and I've always dreamed of being a part of it. When I'm not at work or finishing piles of homework, I am usually looking for new things to experience. Drop me a message if you wanna chat! Otherwise, if observing a complete strangers life excites you... by all means knock yourself out!

My Interests

Howling at the moon, singing, learning to dance (gonna take swing and ballroom when I get a chance), having a drink with friends, going for a late night drive, visiting new places and meeting new people, the bright lights and towering buildings of Chicago, the ageless wonder of art museums, non-fictional reading like biographies and history books, bowling alleys & billiard halls, the California Clipper in Chicago for a fun time people watching, covering more of my body in ink, Harley Choppers, classic cars from the 50's with flames on them, Texas Hold'em on PartyPoker.net, writing manic poetry, comic books, laying out underneath the moon and stars, the smells and colors of the fall along the countryside, snowball fights, a night out at the theater, watchin' movies at home, White Sox baseball, hockey games.

I'd like to meet:

I like meeting people who are genuine. I like knowing people who have soul.
WHICH ONE OF THESE BEAUTIFUL LADIES SHOULD I HAVE INKED? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Music:

THE WORLD LOST A BEAUTIFUL THING WHEN IT LOST THE MAN IN BLACK... THIS IS DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE OF THE CATS SO FAR! CIRCA 1983... THESE GUYS HAD FUN WITH THIS CROWD! ONE OF THE DEFINITIVE PUNKS SONGS OF THE 80'S! STEVIE LETS HIS GUITAR DO ALL THE TALKING...BRINGS A TEAR TO MY EYE EVERYTIME... I WOULD BUY GUITAR HERO II JUST FOR THIS SONG!.. THAT'S IF I HAD A PLAYSTATION! BRINGS ME BACK TO THE DAYS WHEN YOU COULDN'T FIND PUNK ROCK IN THE MALL! WHAT A VOICE! TALK ABOUT TRUE SOUL! In alphabetical order?... Anthrax, Anti-Nowhere League, B52's, Bad Brains, Beastie Boys, Black Flag, Blues Brothers, James Brown, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Circle Jerks, Eric Clapton, the Clash, Patsy Cline, the Cramps, the Damned, Danzig, Dead Kennedy's, Devo, Dr. Dre, Elvis Presley, Eminem, Exploited, Faith No More, FEAR, Guns N Roses, Buddy Guy, GWAR, John Lee Hooker, Iggy and the Stooges, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, B.B. King, Lamb of God, Lard, Legendary Shack Shakers, Madness, old Metallica, Ministry, Minor Threat, Misfits, Motorhead, NIN, NWA, Pink Floyd, Primus, the Ramones, Reverend Horton Heat, Revolting Cocks, Henry Rollins, Brian Setzer, Sex Pistols, Frank Sinatra, SIRIUS Blues, SIRIUS Elvis, SIRIUS Everything!, Slayer, the Specials, Split Lip Rayfield, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Strapping Young Lad, Stray Cats, Subhumans, Suicidal Tendencies, System of a Down, Tool, Vandals, X, Frank Zappa.

Movies:

Horror/Sci-Fi would be my favorite genre... Zombie flicks by Lucio Fulci and the Hellraiser's are cool. Not sure if these new horror flicks hitting the theatres are lame because they lack originality or if it's because I'm not 10-years-old anymore. Too many of these movies remind me of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre anyway. Other flicks... Army of Darkness, Blues Brothers, Boondock Saints, A Clockwork Orange, Crank!, Dead Alive, Elvis' flicks, Evil Deads, Fight Club, Friday the 13ths, From Dusk till Dawn, Full Metal Jacket, Halloween, High Fidelity, Incredibles, Indiana Jones movies, Ju-on (Japanese version of the Grudge), Karate Kid, Kill Bills, Lord of the Rings, Man on Fire, Monty Python films, Natural Born Killers, Nightbreed, Nightmare Before Christmas, Nightmare on Elm Streets, Pulp Fiction, Rawhead Rex, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Shawshank Redemption, The Shining, Snatch, Spider-man movies, the Original Star Wars Trilogy, A Streetcar Named Desire, Taxi Driver, Tombstone, Training Day, Unforgiven, V for Vendetta, Warriors. ONE OF THE CORNIEST ZOMBIE FLICKS EVER SURE...BUT THIS SONG IS (AS THEY SAID IN THE 80'S) FUCKIN' RAD!

Television:

I don't watch much TV these days. Mostly just movies. When I do watch TV it's TV on DVD (who needs commercials?!)Invader Zim! The Twilight Zone, Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park, Young Ones, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Tales from the Crypt, NYPD Blue... lot's of shows not on TV anymore.

Books:

Please Kill Me by Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain. The insightful yet disturbing poetry of Henry Rollins. Pretty much any book documenting the history of Rock'n'Roll. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Anything non-fictional. Love Classic Car Trader mags... I end up drooling over cars I will own someday. =)

Heroes:

My bestfriend Garin for always being there, Johnny Cash, The Ramones, Spider-man and Henry Rollins...

My Blog

Johnny Cash was a friend of mine.
