i graduated from san francisco state in may of 06, a year early. i guess that's what i get for scarificing my social life through high school and most of college. i've now go a BA in english (just like the song) and a minor in history. i've since unwillingly moved back home (because san francisco is great but incredibly expensive) and i'm currently attending csuci where i'm working on my teaching credential. i should be done within about a year and then i'll have to actually become an adult, which will not be pleasant.
i guess i'm using this to find friends and whatnot. friends are always nice, but i don't want to get my hopes up. so i'll just assume that people are here to gawk.
what else? i love music in all forms and of every genre. i like just about everything and i pride myself on that. i'll listen to anything once. i love to sing, although i'm usually very hesitant about doing it in public. i had a bad time with a choir teacher when i was younger. not fun. but i'm getting better at being more confident. but i make up for it by being self-depricating and by being a bitch when i want to be.i like to dance too, although i don't get to do it much. i dance around like an idiot from time to time while listening to music at home. if you get me on the dance floor of a club with the right song, i go crazy.
what else...
i'm shy at first, but i open up really quickly. i tend to talk a lot. probably too much. it's just odd that i can't get past that initial step for some reason. probably fear of rejection or something like that. compliments are hard for me to take, because i'm entirely too cynical for my own good. you can pretty much ask me about anything. i'm an open book. that sometimes ends up biting me in the ass. i am also sensitive and emotional (aww). the whole horniness is just a front, people. get over it. i do my damndest to be honest with myself and others about how i feel about other people and various issues. it can suck sometimes, but i'm getting used to it. i wear my heart on my sleeve like it's going out of style.
one thing i love is engaging converstation. if you know about movies and music in depth, that's wonderful. if not, oh well. i'm sure we can find things to talk about. i also want to learn from you. we've all got things to teach each other. what do you have to teach me?
intelligent conversation, a good sense of humor, maturity, and confidence will get you far with me.
