Innate are centred around 4 members: FRANK BYRNE on vocals and guitar, ROSS KENNEDY on drums, NIALL MASTERSON on bass and JOHNNY OWENS on guitar, vocals and occasionally, violin.
Innate sound exactly like a band should, with guitar sounds that slip between the maudlin and fury, a fluid and sublime rhythm section and vocals to raise the hairs on the back of your neck. Many have tried to pigeonhole Innate onto a previously heard template, but the reality is Innate are in a league of their own, one where comparisons count for nothing and the music counts for everything. People like to stick labels on things, so let them.Innate have ventured around the rich Irish musical landscape.
