Portable Promised Land, Bhadgavad-Gita, Speak, Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, Auto. of Malcolm X, The Catcher in the Rye, the Bible's pretty interesting... I just recently started reading black fiction. Seems the overall theme is a drug dealer or pimp who falls in love w/a woman who's an undercover cop, ghetto dimepiece, or ex prostitute? Shit hits the fan and she has to find her way out of "the game" and survive the "rough ghetto." Or it's about gay dudes.
