I am a visual artist based in sheffield.My art mainly focuses on hidden selves; the ingredients of human nature that might not show on the surface... peoples vulnerabilities, desires, fears. How experience, memory and dream are carrried in the body and expressed by pose, colour and movement.Below is me staring in a video teaser by Joao Paulo Simoes for Sieben's "Desire Rites" album ..In the past I have exhibited throughout the uk, including in london the mall gallery, royal academy, marks and spencers hq, lydons fine art and also show locally in galleries around yorkshire... below is a painting I have just started, Its in oils, i dont yet know how it will develop. I wanted to paint medusa type hair and to capture a moment of change in the way one person percieves another...
