About Me

It’s a long & short story, not very interesting....but I’ve had a good 12 years off from playing guitar and singing in a HC Punk band (Decline). I got sick of band member politics, reliability and all the usual band stuff after 2 european tours and a about 150 shows, back in 91 & 92 even though we did have an amazing time touring with New York’s Hell No and Go! - it does all wear you down.

This time round I thought I’d do this project on my own so I can argue amungst myselfs, make my own noise and do my own thing when and how I wanted. At the ripe age of 37 I’ve got a massive array of influences that I’m drawing from.

I really like noise, unusual sounds, oboe, flute, cello, viola mixed in with contrasting glitchy drums & sounds. I guess I’ll be throwing some guitar in there at some point in the future - who knows. We’ll just see where it goes.

I guess this would be a great place to say hi and thanks to some of the amazing bands that we (Decline (RIP)) shared a stage with between 1990 & 1992 whilst on tour in Europe - Hell No, Go!, Rorshach, No FX, Green Day, Jail Cell Recipes (of course!), Courage (Hello to Rob in Holland), Gore, & tons more. We played loads of shows all over Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Poland, Holland & had a great time. Some of the most memorable shows for me were in Prague, Munich, Berlin, Paris - if you came along - thanks, it was a blast.

Rain, rain and a bit more rain for good measure

After almost 3 months of pretty solid rain in the UK it's getting to the stage where I'm ready for a change of country. I'm pretty sure we'll sell up here and move somewhere warm and most of all a bit...

No new songs - just better old ones!

Being short on time at the moment - rather than work on new stuff that won't get finished soon I decided to revisit some of my older tracks and actually start to finish them. You know, adding the litt...

Those highly productive sleepless nights

Until recently I was absolutely useless at sleeping, I never really understood the what's or whys of it all, just that I didn't get very much sleep at all. Sometimes I'd go a whole frigging month with...
