About Me

Allow us to introduce ourselves. Firstly we have driver number one Laura hailing from 'The Bridge of Trow' as its less commonly known, with all the rallying skill of Penelope Pitstop she will be bringing with her......well, most likely a few bottles of vodka. Also most likely to be contributing the car this year. Then we have Gem, she's travelled around the globe but strange enough still returned to the smog filled land of Boro. With enough road rage to put Catatonia to shame Gemma will be found swearing at drivers across Europe as driver number two. Finally we have Jenn from 'the block' used to have a little now she's got a lot but she still knows where she came from; North Wales. Jenn will be appearing as the designated sarcastic welsh passenger. Unless she gets her act together and passes her driving test this year. With a combination of motoring genius and pure skill, and perhaps some low cut tops, it is our goal to make it Bunol without the car exploding, and as we have laid to rest the sexy saxo and its little yet sturdy 1.1 engine i think we have a chance. For want of a phrase a bit less scouse, we are sound as a pound that yer found on the mound! My Interests

I think our most pressing interest is to save our mascot Harold, please help. Just look at him all 2D and innocent sat in that frying pan......oh what do we care, let the sucker cook.

I'd like to meet:

We desperately need some sponsors if anyone can offer us anything either in the way of financial aid in return for advertising or perhaps something that we could use on the European journey which would cut costs please drop us a line.__________________________________________________ Contact us via myspace or at [email protected] ******************************************************Also would like to meet as many gumballers as possible. Perhaps you would like to join the mighty convoy down the M1. Same as last year but heading even further, down to Brighton no less.******************************************************M aybe this is the time to explain the mighty mighty breakaway (previously, student gumball rally). Its 1500 miles in 5 days from Portsmouth to Bunol in Spain, travelling thru France and on to Spain touring down the Pyrenees to San Sebastian and onto Salamanca. Then travelling south to Granada before a U-Turn back north to Valencia (the home of Paella no less!) before braking at Bunol where we will endure La Tomatina and give the Spaniards a run for their money...or tomatoes! We're actually tavelling down from Middlesbrough in what will probably trun out to be another mighty convoy. Gettin back to blighty will also be an adventure in its own right, for this there is no help so perhaps leave Spain pop over to Germany and drive round in circles before a ferry from Calais to Dover. Saying that the plans will get thrown out of the window along with the map and we'll just take it as it comes.

Music:

Last year i think its fair to say our song of the moment was 'Shakira, Shakira - Hips dont lie' you always new we were coming when you heard that. We do however have much much broader muscial tastes from The Fratellis, Kooks, Razorlight to a bit of Snow Patrol, Oasis and even Lauras Westwood compilation got a play.

Movies:

NO time for movies on the gumball, we'll be too busy making our own. Any suggestions for a soundtrack anyone?

Its been a crazy few weeks in the camp of 3girls and no damn roadmap. We found the rally, joined it, stumbled across some random people with a yacht and advertised ourselves on ebay.All in a days work...
