About Me

Not sure which bit I'm updating but no matter. Originally born in the sunny sea-town of Shoreham-by-Sea I grew up mainly in Worthing until I was moved to Portugal at the age of 12 where I did a lot more growing up. I then returned to the UK for university purposes and have stayed up in Leeds since graduating a while ago. I am now about to start a PhD in the development studies bit of the uni. I have friends on MySpace already and wanted to write to them so I joined.

My Interests

I'm interested in most anything. I'm a generally interested person.

Music:

Well yes, Rufus and Radiohead but also Bob Dylan and Bjork, Leonard Cohen and Lemonjelly, Primal Scream and Pink Floyd, Kate Bush and the Cure, Amadou & Mariam and Antony and the Johnsons... etc etc

Movies:

Films most recently watched and enjoyed include Napoleon Dynamite, Brick, Brazil, Hero, Russian Dolls, Transamerica.

Books:

On Beauty by Zadie Smith. Very funny read indeed. Them by Jon Ronson, also funny and a little scary too. Reading Lolita in Tehran, incredibly beautiful in every way.

Heroes:

Anne of Green Gables. Always.
