take your time peeps, theres no rush...

About Me

I developed a love for dance music back in 1997 when i was just 12 years old. By the age of 14/15, some of my mates bought decks and wanted to be DJs. i couldn't really afford decks at the time, so i bought a mic. No one else that i knew at the time had the confidence to be an MC, so i thought i'd give it a go! I worked closely with two mates of mine from school, tommy and ross. It was so long ago i can't even remember what they called themselves! I know ross was DJ RAPTURE at one point, but that didnt last long! I MC'd as MC One Ton. We started out playing garage, as you do, with tunes like "harry lime" and all the old skool classics. Then, mostly through a guy named Robbie, we discovered a new love for Drum and Bass. At the time i just sped most of my garage lyrics up and they worked ok! But then i started writing my lyrics to Drum and Bass. After a brief spell of Tommy calling himself DJ Electeye, he settled for DJ Tommy Four Seven. We started getting gigs here and there and eventually got a prime time set on Rampage FM. Things were going well, so me and tommy decided to start putting on our own nights at a local club called Bacchus. We called it "Dawn of the Drums" and invited down some of the Jungle Ravers crew to get it up and running. I think we had Mpire, Krafty, Diablo and a few others that turned up on the night. All was good, did it for 3months then moved on tho other things. Did some work with Forplay Promotions and started to build up quite a good portfolio. Places we have played include; Sell out events at The Works in Kingston and The Dixie Queen (the biggest party boat in the UK), bar M, bar 501, the blue room, Sound, The marmot (france), Le Morgan Club (France), The mill to name a few... As time went on, Tommy grew a love for Electro house, of which he is now a household name, with residencies in london and his own record label. Me, i found myself a sick new DJ, dj o.b.s. Now im working with loads of different producers, whilst producing my own tunes and MCing here and there when theres a good party happening. Things are slow at the moment, so im going to start writing again. Along the way i also started to write lyrics to UK Hiphop. hopefully i'll have alot more material on here soon, so keep checking back. peace
