For two seasons on IFC, contestants battled for the title of Ultimate Film Fanatic in a show that quickly became known as American Idol for Movie Geeks! Film freaks and movie geeks fight it out in three rounds involving trivia, passion and collectibles! (Just like in real life. C'mon, you know you've done that? Have you ever completely dismissed someone because they didn't love your favorite movie? Ever try to one up a friend in movie trivia? Ever get in a knock-down drag out fight over who is the greatest film director of all time? Ever try to one-up your pals comparing movie collectibles?
This Un-Official Film Fanatic Fan page will allow you to relive moments from IFC's best show! Plus, you'll become close friends (well, "myspace" friends anyway) with some of the contestants, the winners and other folks associated with the show as we celebrate the greatest movie-reality-game-show ever!
Each season featured a jury, just like American Idol and those included Traci Lords , Jason Mewes, Richard "Shaft" Roundtree, Keith David, Tatum O'Neal, Ione Skye and the legendary Henry Rollins .
UFF was hosted by an infamous movie geek himself, Film Threat's Chris Gore , and the co-host in the sexy usher uniform was Megan Johnson -- a real-redhot-hottie!
So, if you know who Glenn Milstead really is (that one is sooooo easy -- and no fair using IMDB ) you are probably a tried-and-true cinemaniac and could've been on the show.
