I am my mother's daughter." -Spanglish *I'm 21 and afraid of what adult life holds for me. *I love being in college but hate the work. *I want to work with children and make a difference in the world. *I want to be famous. *Concerts are my addiction. *I love meeting artists and hope to one day interview them as part of my job. *I write poems and want to have a book published, even though other people reading what I write is like having them see me naked. *My mom is my best friend and everything I strive to be. *I love my little brother so much it hurts. *I'm not as tough as I pretend to be but I am a very strong person. *I have a stupidity complex. I know that I'm smart but afraid that others don't realize it. *I'm less naive than how others perceive me. *I hate drama. *I pretend to know less Spanish than I really do. *Some people say that I'm too nice. *I'm overly friendly. I love talking to most people but that doensn't mean I want anything from these people. *I hate being told I can't do something. *I hate being told what to do. *I'm indecisive with minor things but I know what I want in life. *I'm a Jersey girl. But I hate the stereotypes. *I spoke with a fake accent in high school. *I'll never need a man to be ok. *I care about most people on a certain level. *I love babies and puppies. (lol) *I love Latin culture, but know who I am...and I like it. *I'm more Irish than anything. *I absolutely love rosaries. *I want to get another tattoo but am hesitant. *I want more piercings but am also hesitant about those. *I'm big on respect. *I laugh hardest at my own jokes. *I'm nostalgic. *I'm obsessed with winter jackets. *I'm in love with Miami. *I'm over analytical. *I love staying up late and sleeping in. *I'm the queen of singing and dancing in front of the mirror, at least in my room I am. *I'm afraid of holding myself back from living life to the fullest. *I love random stories. *I'm very approachable. For this reason, everyone talks to me! lol. *I love songs I can relate to. *I want to travel all over Latin America and the Caribbean. *I'm considering teaching there temporarily. *I'm not always as happy as I may seem but I always have smile for someone (even if I feel like crying.) *I've loved, lost, and loved again... *There is more about me, but I'm going to shut up for now. lol. Music:

I'd call myself ecclectic..but I love Frankie J, Daddy Yankee, and Pitbull. Other faves include: Don Omar and Aventura.

Movies:

I love "chick flicks". Ok, I'm kind of a romantic, but don't tell anybody. lol. Also, I looove old school movies. Some of my fave movies are: Fools Rush In, Brown Sugar, the Goonies, the 3 Amigos, etc. Oh and Crash is absolutely amazing!

Television:

My fave show is Gilmore Girls. But most of the tv I watch is music videos, preferably on Mun2. (You know what that is, right Jme??)

Books:

Wow I haven't read for fun in the longest. Blame school.

Heroes:

My mom...everything I aspire to be and then some. I don't think anyone will ever understand the amazing bond I have with this woman. She gave me life and made it worth living. My mother is my idol, the love of my life, my best friend, my rock. She is beautiful beyond measure and her strength is profound. At the end of the day, despite everything, all I need is for her to love me. Her love and hugs are the cure for every possible pain. She is a part of me forever. My tattoo is a symbol of this. Mommy, I love you more than could ever be expressed in words.
