I am here for Friends

About Me

I am me. Sounds like a no-brainer statement I know but in all reality I could talk about my interests and my physical features and you still wouldn't know me, my thoughts, my values. Anyways, my greatest passions are probably (the performance of) music and helping people. If you really want to get to know me you'll have to meet me in person.

My Interests

God, music, racquetball, a few games (halo mainly), flying, people (I'm a psychology major for a reason...), hiking, biking, camping, nature in general, beaches, traveling, jet-skiing, and probably countless other things I have yet to try.

The Five Love Languages

My primary love language is probably
Quality Time
with a secondary love language being
Words of Affirmation .

Information

Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.

Take the quiz

I'd like to meet:

Friends, especially those I've fallen out of contact with.

Music:

Classical music that I actually play + pretty much anything else that uplifts and inspires, comforts, or is just all around good, fun stuff :)

Movies:

Serenity, although Firefly is a must see before it.
V for Vendetta
Gladiator
Hero
House of Flying Daggers
Pixar movies
Other inspirational, funny, or romantic movies with good story lines and cinematography.

Television:

Not really anything at the moment... maybe the occasional family guy or Heroes or something. I like Kyle XY too, although sometimes I wonder if I like it more for the story line or the music.

Books:

LOTR, Narnia, Halo, Skunk Works, and of course the Bible (which has all the action, drama, mystery, violence, self-help therapy, or romance you could ever want).

Heroes:

God, my parents, my sisters, my uncle, and the friends I have who are there whenever I need them (even if I don't realize it).
