So back in Arabi, LA, Brett Bilquist and RJ Reynolds played in a developmental-stage classic-rock cover band called More with long-time friend Maurice Africh. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Brett was relocated to Las Vegas, NV, and RJ went to live with his mother in Hattiesburg, MS. It was a very devastating time, but through quite a bit of resolve and determination, the two managed to find a way to get back together so they could continue to create together. RJ and Brett both audtioned for and were accepted into the Las Vegas Academy. Shortly thereafter, RJ moved to Las Vegas to live with Brett and his wonderful family. The two tried to make things work with Africh, but due to conflicts beyond anyone's control, they were forced to let him go, although they remain on excellent relations. Taking this time to further hone their respected crafts, Brett and RJ diligently searched for a new drummer and a new vocalist. Enter Mike Villones. After one single jam session with the 14 year-old, both Bilquist and Reynolds were convinced: this was their guy. Time passed on for 4 months with the 3 of them locking down to play tighter than any of them had ever done when Mike brought in Zach Siegels. Again, after just one note of his voice, everyone in the band knew that they had found the fourth part of their story. Everything fell so wonderfully into place that two weeks later, they played their first show. And since then, it's been a ride.
