Well, I'm Carissa and I'm 22 yrs old. The big news is I'm getting married to My BEST FRIEND JUSTIN BAKER on June 16, 2007!! YEAH :) I'm a Christian girl who loves the Lord and wants to learn more about Him each new day! I'm my last semester at Vanguard University (Costa Mesa) ...AND LOVING IT! I'm majoring in psychology and minoring in American Sign Language. YES I AM GRADUATING THIS YEAR...May 5th Here I Come!! Someday, I would like to be a counselor for deaf and hearing mixed families...but that is down the road..lol;) For now, I enjoy the simple things: hanging out with friends, laughing until you can't laugh anymore, having a hand to hold, late night movies, and of course the beach!!!!! (being that I live so close to it) I also enjoy dancing (all types). I did take up surfing; thats funny in itself..lets just say I'm a little clumsy:) I love love love the winter but I also enjoy the summer...but nothing can compare rain drops on your nose, gloves and scarves and having a fire in the fireplace and cuddling. The best thing in life is being with the one you LOVE!

My Interests

Well, lets see...I Love the Lord! I'm definately a people person but that doesn't mean I like some time to think and process as well;) I love every type of adventure. Beaches and mountains are a must! Dancing has always been a passion of mine! I love to talk to people, listen to people...well basically you get the idea;) But in simple just having fun enjoying life...treasuring the moments I share w/ friends and family and soon to be husband:)

I'd like to meet:

God brought me the one person I really wanted to meet...My husband, Justin. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH AND HE IS MY BEST FREIND!!!! I LOVE him with all my heart On the other hand,Umm...pretty much everyone :) from all walks of life.

Music:

Actually I pretty much love anything. From pop to R&B to rock. Among my favorites are: Josh Groban, Hawk Nelson, Maroon 5, John Mayer,Switchfoot, Brian McNight, Selah, African music (I went to Africa this last summer and love their music;) ) Michael W. Smith, Audio Adrenaline ;)

Movies:

Well, basically any chic flix movie; but I also love other movies! But my favorites are: The Notebook, Phantom of the Opera, Dirty Dancing, Sleeping beauty (of course!), Run Away Bride, The Princess Bride, My Fair Lady, Pretty Woman, and Sweet Home Alabama...well those are the girly movies. I also love Pirates of the Caribbean, The Last Samurai, The Matrix, The Count of Monte Cristo, My Big Fat Greek Wedding (being that I'm Greek I have to include this;) ) and of course Lord of the Rings (no I haven't read the books yet..but I should)

Television:

For everyone who knows me knows that I'm a die hard 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls fan!!!! I also love American Idol...just watching people make a fool of themselves makes me laugh...I know I can't sing so why torture other people..hehehe. Family Guy is also a great past time.

Books:

Well, I'm not much of a reader...but the ones that I love...I LOVE!!! Lets see now. The Bible for one;) Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot...really recommend! Sacred Romance by Brent Curits and of course Tuesdays With Morrie...this is a WONDERFUL book...lots of wisdom in it! ;) Well those are just a few books to name but there are lots more.
