Makeda Carbon is a creative individual who expresses herself
mainly through singing but she also writes,acts and dances.
Her main purpose is to be real, talk about the truth,
issues that effect all of us today, frustrated by all
the rubbish that continually pollutes and conditions
our minds into some frazzled, negative, distructive
place it is not meant be in. Makeda is only interested in positive, upful and progressing vibrations.Makeda is the vocalist in ORGANIC AKUSTICKS. In June 2008 ORGANIC AKUSTICKS compleated there self funded West African Tour and in December 2008 they were invited back to open for Sizzla Kalonji in The Gambia. They have had their music circulating internationally including, Ghana, The Gambia The Caribbean, America and all over Europe.
ORGANIC AKUSTICKS consists of two individuals; Ikahnesis (instrumentalist/ songwriter/ producer) and Makeda (singer/ songwriter). Their talents combined, allows them so explore music whilst being self sufficient and progressive. Currently ORGANIC AKUSTICKS are working on their second album "A Time Like Now" and performing in The Gambia.
