Band Members: K1, real name is Keddy De La Cruz, he’s a talented, charismatic recording artist producer and co-producer writer and former member of well known Montreal latin group. ( L-E-M ) Latin-E-Mage. He Was born in the Dominican Republic, he lived a few years of his young age in Puerto Rico where he start discovering his passion and love for the music. It was in Montreal that he was introduced to the Rap and Reggaeton scene.He released his first CD and Video entitled ( L-E-M ) and Hit single ( La Mercy ) under Evolutions records in Montreal and featured as well in Sony Music Copilation “Fiesta Latina” in 2001, and rose the radios charts in Laredo and Canadian radio stations. Since then, he’s been performing and opening in local and international scenes. He shared stages with some major international latin artists such as : DLG, Fulanito,Jose Alberto Canario, Charlie Cruz, Elvis Crespo, Victor Manuel, Gorge Lamond … He has also been invited to internationals festivals : C.O.S.M.A. latin fest in Boston, TLN Latin Fest Toronto, Laredo latin fest in Houston and have performed in some of the top concert halls of Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. He appeared on such local and international television programs as Teleritmo-Global TV, Edicion Especial-Telemundo, Operation Enfant-Soleil (telethon), Musique Plus, and appeared in some movies like : The Art Of War with Wesley Snipes, Space Travesty 2001 a comedy with Lesley Neilsen. As well, his songs were used in international TV program, Student Bodys, by Fox television.In all, K1 is no stranger to the stage, TV, Radio Stations or Club Scenes where his music has been played and will continue to be played. He is ready to venture further out into the world with his addictive, diversified, capturing tempo onto the Nuevo Genero of Reggaeton Music. :keddyman/billy
