Partners N Crime is made up of Kango Slim (born Walter Williams) and Mista Meana (born Michael Patterson), friends raiased in the 17th ward of New Orleans. The two friends earned a local buzz performing at various New Orleans talent shows, and eventually signed to Big Boy Records. A rivalry between Partners N Crime and Cash Money Records group UNLV led to further hostilities between Big Boy and Cash Money before the two groups made peace.
Partners N Crime had widespread success in Louisiana with their single "Pump the Party", eventually creating their own impring Crime Lab Entertainment underneath Juvenile's UTP label. Their latest album "Club Bangaz" was released through UTP/Rap a Lot record labels.
In the game since 1993, the legendary Partners -N- Crime is still one of the most successful groups to come from New Orleans. Partners -N- Crime will release their 2009 album on Mardi Gras Day through their independent label Crime Labb Ent. under HITZ International. They are currently in the studio working hard on their greatly anticipated album "WE ARE LEGENDS", and touring the south performing some of their legendary classics with a small taste of whats to come in the "WE ARE LEGENDS" tour 2009.
