I guess I like many different things, I try not to encompass myself into any one thing. I went into social work in honor of my sister. She passed away in Sept of 2001, she was an inspiration to me. I wanted to honor her. I have two daughters; they make me thankful every day. I'm with my best friend of 17 years, Paul. We have had our break-ups/issues throughout our 6 years of dating, but I always realize he is exactly what I want and need. Regardless of what people think I have never lied to him, he always knew what was going on from my own mouth. I have met some great friends during the course of my life and have kept in touch with the majority of them. I still hang out with my high school friends, and enjoy their company. I don't dig people who make fun of races, cultures, handicaps, sexual preferences, and I absolutely hate racist people. I was raised not to insult races or things people have no control over, I raise my children the same. To this day I have never used the N or R word, that’s something I am extremely proud of. I believe education of others is the only true way to change ignorance. I say thank you probably way too much, am overly polite and overdo the I love yous, mainly because I don’t want to leave this earth without others knowing how grateful I am that they are a part of my life or touched it for a moment. I realize we’re all the same so I treat people as I would want to be treated. I wish everyone an education to expand growth in life, degrees are secondary. I promote pro-choice, love, and anything in which doesn’t hurt a fellow human being. I am also against war, religion, and anything that makes a culture/society believe they are better than anyone else. Anyhow, that’s a bit about me. I’m not perfect, far from it. I have made many mistakes in life, but I tend to use each as a learning experience.
