The Trophy Wives

Instrumental rock that alternates between Zeppelin-on-the-caravan stomps, psychedelic soundscape freak outs and Krautrock via Bed-Stuy; for electric violin/electric mandolin, synthesizer, drums and bass. The Trophy Wives also play a video game performance piece that they developed which was recently featured on MTV News (all day Nov. 18). The game - which is called Mortal Muzak - is based on classic two-person fighting games like Mortal Kombat; however, Muzak is different in that the characters fighting each other are controlled by musical instruments instead of video game controllers.
