The Danish designer Stine Goya launches her first ready-to-wear collection, †Konfettiâ€, during Copenhagen Fashion Week February 2007. The collection features outstanding combinations of colours and prints and classic cuts are paired with cunning and challenging proportions. Her debut collection is revealed at the fashion fair CPH Vision. The collection will also show during Paris Fashion Week. With this collection Stine Goya begins a new chapter. She has ten years of experience in the international fashion industry: first as a model working for Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel, and later she started working as a prominent stylist for fashion magazines including Harper’s Bazaar, DANSK, and Costume. In 2005 Stine Goya graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. As part of her training she worked for some of London’s leading designers including Eley Kishimoto, Jonathan Saunders and Hussein Chalayan. Right from the start Stine..s designs have been in the limelight and she has received media coverage in international fashion magazines including Nylon, Glamour, Stylemag and DANSK. Her graduation collection was shown alongside her colleague Henrik Vibskov in Copenhagen. Stine Goya took a “sabbatical year†working as the fashion editor for Cover magazine, before she fully devoted her time to her debut collection. Stine Goya..s signature style is unmistakably Scandinavian. It is clean and pure, but at the same time it plays with both bold and dazzling colours and experiments with the silhouette.
