Money Karlo (born Michael Macon) first came into the music scene on the hook of regional hit “Walk Like A Soldier” in 2000. In 2003, he produced two songs on Pastor Troy’s album released through Universal, “By Any Means Necessary”. In 2007, he produced The Shop Boyz, the B side single, “Totally Dude”. He has worked with other major artists like Lil Wayne, Nelly, Bow Wow, Gucci Mane, Rich Boy, Franchise Boys, Kurupt, Bohagon, Yung Joc and others. After being introduced to Static Major he became his mentor and was inspired to become a producer/writer/rap artist. He soon penned, “She’s Just Like My Chevy” featuring Gucci Mane and Rich Boy. He has performed with major artists including Pastor Troy, Hot Boyz, Goodie Mob, Rick Ross, J. Money, Gucci Mane, O.J. da Juice, etc. He is embarking upon his first tour with Hittmen DJs and has many other projects in the works.
