**dismantling the system, one law at a time**

About Me

My formerly poetical persona was driven to the brink of reason by nearly two years of studying the legal system. Then it crossed the brink. Now I'm the thoroughly reasonable person.Except...Sometimes I go off in a fit of passion that ill befits my status as a future lawyer of America. But perhaps that passion is exactly what the law of America needs after centuries of growing old and crumbly standing guard over the interests of those whose interests don't need guarding.See, I can't even go off on a good rant any more without getting all nerdy about it.Note on my location:I grew up in Brooklyn. Went to college in Manhattan. Go to law school in Ithaca, and am a resident of Ithaca now. I will be permanently moving out of Ithaca in August 2007. BUT for the fall, I am living in Takoma Park Maryland and working in WASHINGTON DC.Cornell has an externship program that lets me get credit for working full-time with the national security lobbyist for the DC ACLU.Fun!
