Shameka first steped onto the professional dance scene two years ago. In this short period of time she has accomplished a lot of the short term goals she had set for herself. She has performed in numerous concerts, tours, live performances, and competitions. She has also shared the stage with groups such as U-neeq, Fo’Real, Nexx Level and Rukus. Also she got the opportunity to work with Canadian choreographer Luther Brown, when she took part in his dance production, “On My Way Home.†Shameka has also been featured in music videos for Melanie Durant, Skitz, Kelly and General. She is an assistant choreographer for U-neeq dance crew and recently graduated from the George Brown Commercial Dance program. Shameka continues to grow as a performer. With her unique style of dance and choreography, she has a lot to offer the dance scene. She is truly a rising star.
