I grew up in Colorado, but have been livin' in Washington for about 12 years now and love it. I travel quite a bit, both on vacation and for work. I really like being outdoors and work as a river guide and rescue instructor in the summer and as a ski patroller and avy instructor in the winter to facilitate this. This leaves the fall for getting out on my own adventures, which have recently taken me down the Colorado river and Grand Canyon. I kayak and swim... usually in that order, but working to change that ... if only I could breath under water... maybe next lifetime. Winter time is probaly my favorite season... there is almost nothing better than getting out in the woods and going down hill real fast, especially in the pow, wether on skis, snowboard, or teles. I just moved to Index with great boating out the back door and beautiful mountains all around! my other hobbies include fire dancing (I have poi, whips, staffs and fire hoops) and have a small business making these items, though mostly for friends. I LOVE music... playin', listening and dancin' my ass off. I am usually the first on the floor if something is going on. I hand drum(djembe and bongos) as well as am learning to play mandolin...
