About Me

I'm not quite sure what needs to be put here about me. I'll just throw out a few things: I was born..in the Bronx and moved here (Michigan that is) before I was one. Lived in the projects (Parkside) in Detroit..in the early Seventies. Lived near Wayne State.. on Second for a number of years. Spent some time in Westland, Livonia and moved back from Florida (after two years) not all that long ago. I'm back on the outskirts of Detroit (Hamtramck border), where I owned an old Nineteen~Twenties two-story house/store (Stamped tin ceiling..and all that..Was very cool) for a long time ~ Music has been an important part of my life for as far back as I can remember. In the Seventies I was absorbing AM radio (Transistor! Static!) and would usually have a radio with me. In the Eighties..Was into Metal (and was amongst the one's who experienced the beginnings of Thrash). I've got around five hundred albums..and there are LOTS more I want/need. Man, are there lots. What else? There's gotta be more.. But, I'm not sure.

My Interests

Queens of the Stone Age - Burn The Witch

Fleetwood Mac - Tusk

Looking Glass - Brandy (You're A Fine Girl)

Was at this show..Up front(The ONLY place 'ta be)..Early Megadeth.

Upcoming: The Polyphonic Spree @ The Majestic Theater ~ July 6th.

Dallas symphonic pop group the Polyphonic Spree is less a band than a happening, in the 1960s sense of the word. When the group takes to the stage for a live performance, its two dozen members are cos...

A band like Red Sparowes can be infuriating for a reviewer. A band that have so many elements worth writing theses on, yet none that can be summed up in a catchy phrase or even a short paragrap...

Past: ISIS @ St. Andrews Hall ~ March 21st.

Isis pushed the envelope so far on 2002's Oceanic and 2004's gloriously pretentious concept album Panopticon that they spawned countless imitators, which is the greatest form of flattery in some quart...
