About Me
I'm 26 years "young" and married to the love of my life, my best friend and soul mate. I work for an accounting firm here in Omaha Nebraska, where I was born and raised. The most current thing in our lives right now is that we had our first baby. She, "Makenzie Joe-Marie Martin" came into this world May 11, Mother's Day. Its was a very smooth pregnancy, so I was lucky. It's was an absolute miracle and I've loved every minute of being pregnant. To feel her move and kick and turn is such an unexplainable feeling. "I loved you before I met you" is such a great statement because it is very true! She is such a good baby, sleeps majority of the night and eats well. We are so lucky to have a beautiful, good, healthy baby. Well a little more about me, I grew up in the area of 65th and Western and lived there my entire life up until about a few years ago. I then lived with my parents out west for about 2 years and then I moved out on my own and purchased my own home somewhat in the same area. I have two brothers that are both married. I have 3 nephews and 3 nieces that range from age 16 to 5. My parents are most likely the coolest ever! Those close friends of mine should know why I say that! :) I am VERY close to my parents. Now being married my family has gotten larger. I now have 2 more brothers and a sister, along with another niece! Joe and I got married Friday September 8! It was the perfect day! He is the love of my life and my best friend. He brings out the best in me, its a match made in heaven. I have a million people to thank for making this day happen for Joe and I. You all know who you are. Anyway as you all know we obviously live together and have a dog; Tessa and two birds. Tessa, she is the best dog ever! I enjoy being outside a lo, we are at the lake as much as possible jet skiing. I love doing water sports, working out/kick boxing and playing softball, hopefully I'm that active again after the baby is born!! I've had my crazy nights out with my friends at the bars/dance clubs. Which by the way, I have the greatest group of friends. I love you guys to death and miss those that are not in town!! I enjoy just relaxing with Joe and watching movies to hanging out with our families. We cant wait for the weather to warm up so we can get our hammock out, we seem to live on that thing now. I'm really not too interesting, cant deny that. I've had my crazy nights, bar hopping, that sort of thing. Times change and now its heading to settling down, family road. Nothing wrong with that. I dont regret anything I have done or been through, some of those things have made me a stronger person, and if those things never happened I may not have learned those lessons in life that have made me who I am today. I do believe everything happens for a reason, although sometimes those things that do happen, feel like they are the end of life. You just have to keep pushing on. I've come across a few back stabbers, they know who they are and their day will come when it bites them in the ass. I have to say, I'll be there laughing. Call me cruel but there comes a point with certain things that you just look away from and know what comes around goes around. Anyway, I have a few people to thank for helping me push on, you guys know who you are. Love you. At the time of meeting Joe, life wasn't so positive and I know that was the same in his life. Someone knew we were meant to be together.... Well anyway thats all for now.
