Well done boys, we've quickly nabbed the worst band names out there after Juice Box and the Refills! Nice!Hey! We're Whim, and we suffer from really bad recording of a not very good practice syndrome, know us before you judge us :{D
Succinct Bio:Formed in March 2005 under the nomenclature of The Undersnails, the band won the laughs and cheers of the Rockquest crowd (though not the judges), despite their lack of practice for the event and the absence of their bassist from their performance. After three more gigs, including the North Shore Youth Band Comp of October 2005, the band went underground, where they built a band room, furnished it with instruments and proceeded to fill it with the sound of musical enrichment; the band maturing into a unit capable of creating some actually decent sounding music, in contrast to the rushed, loose sounding arrangements of the past. A change of attitude accompanied this transformation, where we now appreciate the finer elements of our craft, our own musical development and each other, which is reflected in our music. Having developed a set we are happy with, the band now hopes to gig frequently and perhaps record an EP in the not-too-distant future.
