RIP nadaCONTRA

As legend has it, nadaCONTRA was born on a steamy night in May '79, when the parents of Douglas Randall, Gadi Murciano, Edward Cerecedes, and Neal Kemp all met up at a swingers party in Los Angeles, California, where they each conceived a son. Though better jobs and better drugs kept their families apart for twenty-plus years, the boys reunited in LA at the end of 2006 when they found themselves at a Hollywood clambake, bonding over an uncanny love for disco music and similar John Stamos-shaped birthmarks on their right thighs. Each possessing a propensity toward self-deprecating yet beautifully hardassed art-rock, they officially formed nadaCONTRA with their respective instrumental/vocal talents in tow. Though the group dynamic is obscenely comfortable, they still do not tell "yo' mama" jokes.
