About Me

On to an opening thought:
He who lets the world choose... his plan of life for him, has no need of any other faculty than the ape-like one of imitation. He who chooses his plan for himself must...use observation to see, reasoning and judgement to forsee, activity to gather materials for decision, discrimination to decide, and when he has decided, firmness and self-control to hold his deliberate decision. -John Stuart Mill
Key features and benefits: Bilingual in Swedish (and English - it was recently pointed out to me that the denotation of ..bilingual.. necessitates specification of both languages spoken.) Realistic optimist: likes to reflect extensively on the possibility of how things "could be." Proponent of incremental change -- in many different contexts Fully twixter -compliant, includes HOT freestyle bike! (*Some assembly required) Believer in egalitarianism. The Economist subscriber. Is to dance music what Ken Burns is to Jazz. Purveyor of house music Better than average dancer. Southern born, yet surprisingly worldly. Lover of Sushi.
I had a lot of other things written here, but I became self-conscious thinking about how ego-centric it is (then again, maybe the "about me" section is meant to be self-centric?) I guess that's open for debate. Feel free to contest that point with me or inquire about any of these open-ended statements I've used to describe myself. I'm pretty approachable.
P.S. - a lot of people seem to have no clue what a DBA is, so I have included a link here .
Note: I've started an image gallery on my webserver, it can be found here .
Please do not send me a friends request without messaging me first. Thanks!
