I live in Philadelphia. I'm from Lancaster, which is where I want to live someday. I love the city, but I'm really a country girl at heart. In August I will be a second year medical student at Drexel Med (wooohooo!). I absolutely love it even though for the most part I'm more stressed out than I have ever been. But I try to find ways to relax and have fun despite all the pressure. Right now I'm considering being an OB/GYN or a surgeon. What I call my family is my boyfriend of seven years, who I live with when I'm not at school, and our two cats, Fenway and Tessie. My sister just finished her basic training and AIT for the army, and I'm SO proud of her. She's my best friend and I don't know what I would do without her. I love coffee, reading for fun (which I haven't done in a long time), going to the gym (again, not in a while), and cuddling. I like knowing what's going on, so I plan for the future years in advance. I'm a feminist. I'm hate religion, but I do love the idea of having your own personal spirituality. I'm somewhere between a libertarian and a democrat. I always vote, and I look down on people who don't. I love animals, and I want to have multiple dogs and cats (and maybe some cows and goats) instead of children. I love being independent, but I also love having someone there who I know will support me and will love me no matter what. I feel very lucky that I've been in love from such a young age. I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I'm obsessed with my grandma; she's my inspiration for the kind of person I want to be. I still bake Christmas cookies with her every year. My boyfriend will be moving in with me in January, and I'm excited to finally live with him year round for the first time in a long time. I love my life right now.
