Peace, I'm just on here to connect with all of my people. To enlighten, and be enlightened, basically, I'm just here to perform my duty and help others to perform theirs.This is something that I had on my blackplanet page, and since it's still relevant I post it here as well: Peace, to all people, but to my black brother`s, and sister`s especially. I love all of you even those of whom I haven`t had the pleasure to make your aquaintence. I have for as long as I can remember had a sense of not only racial identity, but also pride. Pride about what you may ask, pride of being apart of a race that has survived the worst examples of human to human brutality EVER! As I said survived, not overcome. We have survived the brute`s savage physical oppression, and now it`s time to conquer that same brute`s mental, psychological, and financial control. No matter how strong certain individuals may be, this needs to be done as a unit. If you`ve had the benefit to be illuminated by the light of knowledge of self, as I have been, we cannot now turn our backs on our lost brother`s, and sister`s. We MUST turn back and return into the burning building to retrieve our trapped, and lost people who can`t find the fire escape, and more importantly those who don`t even know that the building that they`re in is on fire. This must be done, and WE must be the one`s to do it. It`s time to stop depending on the other`s to devise solutions for our problems. Let`s not forget we`ve been depending on them to solve our problem`s for 500 years, and look we`re still knee deep in the muck, and mire that fills societies basement. If you`re having trouble seeing what I`m getting at just remember the old African Proverb: It takes a village to raise a child. And It`s going to take every member of that same village to save that village. So if you feel the same way as I do let`s not just talk about it, let`s come up with actual idea`s that can stear our vessel in the direction prosperity.Something to think about:Why do we no longer care for or share with each other. Everyone`s out for self. and that is the reason that we as a PEOPLE are in this perpetual state of pity. Look at where mostof us live, look how most us live. what do we have...what do we really have? Nothing. (Hell we don`t even have a country) And please don`t tell me" Well i don`t know what the rest of y`all got but I drive an Escalade, my wrist are frost bit,and my pockets got mad cheese in them". First of all high line materialistic things aren`t what life is about, and they don`t define success, and secondly if you subscribe to this ideology that just corroborates my sentiments (thanks DJ) that no we are out for self. What ever happened to each one teach one!When are going to wake up and pick up the baton of true independence that we dropped when our parents and grandparents attempted to pass to us.
