Have you ever stopped one day to notice that you've changed? I don't know when it happened, but after reading what I used to have in my "About Me" section, I had to hold the delete button for a vvveeeerrryyyy long time...I'm not saying that the change was good or bad, just that it occured...well for instance, I can remember a time when sipping down the refreshing taste of a mango mojito in a crowded lounge with favorable music was highly enjoyable. Now, I barely get off the couch long enough to use the bathroom for I might lose the image painted in my mind from the current book that I'm reading. Not to mention, silence is at a much sweeter decibel than club volume...work is a whole other story. I quit a job that at first glance was the best job in the world, but after the shiny surface had worn, dread and longing were all that remained. I am in the process of changing industries and I am at a crossroads between education and experience. I feel that the people who know me through my past experiences think my wanting a profession in my degree field is a joke. If you're one of them reading this, don't be embarrassed that I caught you; I excel at reading body language and undertones. Despite lack of support from those on the fringe, my close family and friends believe in my ability to succeed no matter which option I choose. Stay tuned to see which direction I take...As for the love-life, I can't have asked for a more perfect match in my husband, Ryan. Our history has proven to me without a doubt that we were meant to be together and I can't express how relieving it is to find the one person you're supposed to be with. We married on 12-04-07 and things get better and better. We still haven't yet decided if we're having children or how many, but our two adorable kitties suffice for now...I suppose the biggest change is that I traded in my high heels and dresses for fuzzy socks and big t-shirts. If I drink at all it's a glass of merlot while reading a book or a sip of Ry's captain and dr. pepper if we're at a friend's house. My definition of fun has completely changed. I still love karaoke, but rarely have the energy to get dressed up to go. I have no patience for clothes shopping, but can spend hours at Borders. I actually yell at Ry if he doesn't play COD 4!!! (if you don't know what that is then I have no time for you)...If you care to find out more about me, by all means ask. I'm highly opinionated and incredibly honest, so if you want to about more than just me, you can ask that as well.
