About Me

The last 29 years have been very busy, to say the least. For starters, I had a modeling career when I was 8, but then I decided to channel all my energy into ballet and realized that I didn't like being told I was fat all the time so I started acting, because that's what you should do if you have an aversion to being scrutinized in every way, shape, and form. It worked out well for me, because I was good at it, so I didn't have to fall back on my movie star looks to save my ass. I rode the wave of good fortune, and because I was the best at what I did in high school, I decided this would be my passion until the end. Little did I know that the "end" would be around sophomore year of college when I realized that academia was slowly passing me by as I spent hours a day reciting the same Shakespeare sonnet that I would never get right if my life depended on it. Switched from a BFA to a BS and concentrated on something practical, something that would help me get a job one day: Philosophy, of course.Philosophy was great, you see, 'cuz I had more time to party. I didn't have to prepare a monologue or a verse for class the next day, and I could write up my essays at 3 or 4 a.m., or when my social calendar permitted. Yeah, I graduated on time, with an additional honorary degree for my semester spent abroad in the country of Ecstasy Mushroom. It seemed as though I had everything figured out, because from an early age, I always knew exactly what I wanted to do. ;-) So it came as quite a shock to me, when I left college, that I had no idea whatsoever what the hell I should do. So, I did what any rationally-thinking human being would do. I went to Australia to help my older brother teach the Aussies about the tradition of Halloween in 90 degree weather. Because when it's Halloween in the States, it's actually summer in Australia, so if Halloween means the harvest season to us, it means absolutely nothing there. But it was fun times. Then came Boston. A lot of real life experience, some of which was a little too real for me. Then back to LA. And here I am, except there's a whole lot of stuff that happened in between. Don't want to scare anyone away... That's a little bit about me, but I'm a whole lot more interesting and more neurotic than you would ever believe.

Resolutions? No, thank you. Don't think I've ever made one--maybe that's my problem. Maybe I should take contrary action. See, I have a deep-seated fear of commitment, so it's very hard for me to ...
