Melissa Charsette aka “Charsette†has 12 years of cumulative experience in the music, modeling, and entertainment industry. She has traveled the globe performing as a contemporary jazz, R&B vocalist, as well as a runway and print model.Voiceover work is another form of expression Charsette enjoys. Charsette is "the voice" of several Leapfrog children's educational products and toys.While developing her voice over and music career, Charsette has modeled for for companies such as: Mervyns', Macy's, Nordstrom, Ebay, Ebony Magazine, Cisco Systems, Fitness Magazine, Xerox, AT&T, the California Lottery, in addition to other well-known companies. Charsette has also appeared in commercials for McDonalds and Hardee's restaurants.Charsette has established a reputation as a top performer in California's Bay Area and successfully ran her own private voice school. Charsette's live showcases are favorites with local enthusiasts. As a highly sought after session artist and vocal trainer, Charsette lends her song writing skills and one take vocals in studio collaborations with Bay Area heavyweights. Charsette is currently the only featured vocalist on the cd of world renowned R&B and Jazz pianist and compose, Saya Saito. Saya Saito is credited for her collaborations with Aaron Neville and the Neville Brothers. Charsette has also worked in the recording studio alongside Carlos Santana’s band members, recording demo tracks. Charsette is a featured artist on Tony Lindsay’s (lead singer for Carlos Santana) third cd project.
